Welcome to Nautical Institute Sweden Branch

The Nautical Institute is the international professional body for qualified seafarers and others with an interest in nautical matters. We provide a wide range of services to enhance the professional standing and knowledge of members who are drawn from all sectors of the maritime world.

The Nautical Institute Sweden Branch conducts two annual member meetings and also welcomes interested quests. Please feel free to contact the branch secretary for further details about the branch and its meetings.

The principal purpose of this website is to allow Branch members to remain in close touch with the branch and events, and for other NI members to be able to get in touch with local members when visiting Scandinavia as a part of their seagoing employment or otherwise. In addition, the aim is to inform the shipping trade of the Nautical Institute’s activities and others with an interest in nautical matters

One of the world’s leading professional membership organisations has issued a challenge to those working in the maritime world to help be a force for change.
